If the music’s too loud… get some limited-edition, Pearl Jam-branded earplugs.

A side effect of venturing out to deafening rock concerts is, well, hearing loss. Ahead of their U.S. tour, Pearl Jam came up with an on-theme solution. The Seattle alt-rock greats teamed up with MusiCares — the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences’ nonprofit that provides emergency care to working musicians — to create a line of limited-edition earplugs for concertgoers during their upcoming trek.

MusiCares will have a booth at each of Pearl Jam’s stops this spring, where you can grab the earplugs for a small suggested donation. They even come with a handy case. See below:

“Don’t be careless and lazy at loud rock shows or cranking tunes through an old Walkman like I was 30 years ago (but boy did it all sound good),” bassist Jeff Ament said in a press release. “Wear hearing protection or you’ll end up with a 1.5k ring in both ears every night when you go to bed or worse when you are trying to enjoy the serene quiet of an empty desert or forest, again like me.”

Pearl Jam’s tour launches on April in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and culminates with a two-night stay at Wrigley Field in Chicago on Aug. 20 and 22. They’re also slated to play this year’s Bonnaroo. See their complete tour itinerary right here.

Ament recently revealed the band is “ready” and “inspired” to record their next album. “Everybody’s ready for the challenge and everybody’s ready to do something different,” he said. “It feels like there’s inspiration, like people are inspired right now. That’s exciting.”
