Pearl Jam have released their official video for ‘Mind Your Manners,’ the first single from their forthcoming ‘Lighting Bolt’ album. Directed by celebrated photographer Danny Clinch, the clip features the Seattle grunge icons performing in front of a giant screen beaming a mash-up of stock war footage and original animation created by Montana-based artist Andy Smetanka.

Clinch has previously worked with Pearl Jam on several projects including ‘Immagine in Cornice,’ a concert DVD documenting the band’s 2006 tour of Italy.

"It's my attempt to try to make a really hard edge-type Dead Kennedys-sounding song,” Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready says in a recent video posted on the band’s YouTube channel.

Hitting stores on Oct. 14, ‘Lighting Bolt’ was produced by Brendan O’Brien (Bruce Springsteen, the Killers), and is Pearl Jam’s first studio album since 2009’s ‘Backspacer.’ O’Brien has previously produced five of the group's studio albums, including best-sellers ‘Vs.’ and ‘Vitalogy.’

Pearl Jam kick off a two-leg, 25-date North American tour this fall. The first phase of the tour launches on Oct. 11 in Pittsburgh and wraps in New Orleans with the band's headlining performance at Voodoo Music + Arts Experience during the weekend of Nov. 1.
