The boys in Pearl Jam have released a video for 'Sirens,' the next single from their forthcoming tenth studio album, 'Lightning Bolt.'

This one's not as electric, literally or figuratively, as 'Mind Your Manners,' the first offering from the grunge titans' upcoming set, but this mid-tempo jam has mass appeal written all over it. It's like Counting Crows covering Cheap Trick's 'The Flame' after a major Springsteen binge, and if that sounds like a knock, it ain't.

Eddie Vedder and the fellas long ago earned the right to slow things down, stroke their beards and sing lines like, "I hear the sirens more and more in this here town." Visually, 'Sirens' is a pretty straightforward performance clip, but the Seattle survivors look ready to pack up those instruments and head out on their sold-out North American tour, which kicks off Oct. 11 in Pittsburgh and finishes up back in the Emerald City on Dec. 6.

'Lightning Bolt,' produced by longtime cohort Brendan O'Brien, drops Oct. 15 on Republic.
