Pete Doherty to Play Solo Shows Before Libertines Reunion

Hot on the heels of the upcoming Libertines reunion, singer Pete Doherty has announced three solo performances in Nottingham, Oxford and Bristol ahead of the scheduled full-band shows.

The band’s London hometown main gig is scheduled for July 5, but the group will perform two warm-up shows in Glasgow on June 28 and 29. They’ll also play two European festivals and a few other semi-local dates to mark their reunion.

In a recent interview with NME, Doherty told fans to expect some new material at the Libertines shows, or maybe even some unfinished old songs — things that may have fit on their classic ‘Up the Bracket’ album.
