Picture of the Week: Feist Checks Out Bon Iver’s Soundcheck at Red Rocks

It doesn't take a hipster hippie like Feist to appreciate the beauty of catching nature nut Bon Iver under the big blue skies of Colorado as captured in this picture. The Grammy-winning Bon Iver was sound checking as he prepared for his headlining set at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Morrison, Colo., and show opener Feist recognized a gorgeous moment when she saw it. She snapped this pic, later posting it on her Twitter page for the whole world to see.

The sold-out concert took place on Thursday, May 31,  and Feist for one couldn't wait for it to go down. "I've never been there," she said of Red Rocks ahead of the show. "It's supposed to be one of the most beautiful outdoor amphitheaters in the world. It's a natural sort of old Greek-style amphitheater, and I'm playing there with Bon Iver, so that's exciting."

Exciting, indeed. The two also rocked the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash. -- often considered the second most gorgeous outdoor venue around -- the previous weekend as part of the 2012 Sasquatch! festival, so that's quite a run of stunning beauty. We bet their music sounded especially amazing!
