In keeping with their recent strategy of surprising fans early in the morning with good news, Pixies have have unveiled a new video for 'Andro Queen,' the leadoff track on their freshly dropped 'EP-1' set, and announced a 33-date North American tour.

The resurgent alt-rock gods launch their trek on Jan. 15 in Toronto and wrap things up on March 1 in Austin. Along the way, they'll share stages with Fidlar, Cults and Best Coast and debut more new material, according to a press release. The announcement comes as Pixies wind their way through Europe, continuing a tour that began with a run of club shows last month and marks the introduction of bassist Kim Shattuck, who steps in for founder Kim Deal.
