Placebo will celebrate their 20th anniversary as a band at an upcoming set of world tour dates.

The band will launch the tour on Oct. 13 in Aarhus, Denmark. They’ll wrap things up with a string of U.K. dates in December, culminating with a show in their London stomping grounds on Dec. 15. See the complete itinerary at the bottom of the page. While no U.S. tour dates are included in this particular jaunt, there’s still hope: The band will announce a second leg scheduled in 2017 at a later date.

In a statement, frontman Brian Molko promised to play old catalog favorites that the English rockers haven't included in their set lists in more than a decade -- including their commercial hits “Pure Morning” and “Nancy Boy”:

Let’s just say there will be songs in the set that I’ve sworn never to play again. I think it’s time that we purposefully acknowledged what a lot of Placebo fans really want to hear. They’ve been very patient with us since we rarely play our most commercially successful material. A 20 year anniversary seems like the right time to do so. That’s our intention. This tour is very much for the fans and a chance for us to revisit a lot of our early material. So, if you want to see us play songs like ‘Pure Morning’ and ‘Nancy Boy’ which we haven’t played in almost ten years and may not play again, then you’d better come along to these shows! We’ll have some surprises too.

Placebo released their self-titled debut in 1996. Their most recent full-length, Loud Like Love, arrived in 2013.
