Prince Releases ‘Breakfast Can Wait’ Video, Sends Model in His Absense

The Great Purple One is back and he doesn’t have time for waffles. Prince has just unveiled his video for ‘Breakfast Can Wait,’ his recent single. Starring model/actress Danielle Curiel, the new clip doesn’t feature the Minneapolis funk-rock legend, but it does include plenty of sexed-up choreography and, well, breakfast food items.

Released on Aug. 14, ‘Breakfast Can Wait’ became an instant viral hit due to its cover art, featuring comedian Dave Chappelle dressed as Rick James. The comedian’s famous impersonation of the late singer originated from his days on the 2000s series Chappelle's Show.
