Purity Ring have unveiled a new video for “Begin Again,” and it delivers a very creepy, Halloween-appropriate interpretation of the song's titular refrain.

The Canadian synth-pop duo’s Corin Roddick and Megan James play supporting roles in the Young Replicant-directed clip, which, according to a press release, delves into “the song’s themes of renewal and rebirth.” The video does so in quite literal fashion, as a small village brings a woman back from the dead. Check it out above.

The new "Begin Again" clip follows Purity Ring's video for "Push Pull," another track from their most recent full-length, Another Eternity, which arrived back in February via 4AD. It follows their 2012 debut, Shrines.

This Friday (Oct. 16), the duo will play a DJ set at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco. Then, they have a pair of dates in Canada -- including an appearance at Halifax Pop Explosion -- before they head to the U.K. Check out the band’s complete upcoming itinerary at their website.
