Frontman Josh Homme casually revealed during his Beats 1 Radio show Wednesday night that Queens of the Stone Age will be playing their first show together in about a year at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles. The only catch is the show is Thursday night and probably far beyond sold out by now.

Homme let the cat out of the bag during his show, The Alligator Hour, Wednesday night (Sept. 9). Comedian Bill Burr will be opening. Tickets for the surprise concert went on sale immediately after Homme's show ended around 11PM EST.

QOTSA were reportedly going to take a break before beginning work on a follow-up to 2013's ...Like Clockwork. But you never really know with these guys. Maybe the concert is just the tip of the surprise iceberg?
