Rachael Yamagata's Crowdfunding for New Album Almost Done

Within the first two weeks of launching her crowdfunding campaign via Pledge Music, Rachael Yamagata has garnered nearly enough support to fund her brand-new, and yet-to-be-titled, record.

Already exceeding 80% of her goal, Yamagata has some very obvious reasons to celebrate. As she prepares for the release of her fourth full-length, she is also remembering her debut LP, 'Happenstance,' as it is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. And if that's not enough, she's getting ready to hit the road this fall for for an extensive North American tour.

Her sets for the fall tour will encompass her career's work, including debuts of never-before-heard new music. Additionally, in a select few cities -- Chicago, Portland, Los Angeles, Alexandria, Philadelphia and Brooklyn -- Yamagata will be performing special shows in honor of 'Happenstance.' Supporting Yamagata on these gigs will include the French pairing, the Dove and the Wolf, as well as Philadelphia's own Hemming. You may recognize Hemming as the singer-songwriter was featured on the VH1 show, 'Make or Break: The Linda Perry Project.'
