Like most Radiohead album covers, the cover of this 2007 cover was by designed by Stanley Donwood, who worked on it in the studio at the same time the band was in the studio recording. At the end of every day he would leave samples for the Radiohead to comment on, collecting their feedback in the morning, and eventually the back-and-forth evolved into the 'In Rainbows' cover. Glorious!
