When the garage-punk trio Radkey — brothers Dee, Isaiah and Solomon Radke — tells listeners to ‘Start Freaking Out’ on the opening track of their latest EP, ‘Devil Fruit,’ they mean business. The video for the song reveals that the Missouri band of brothers’ live shows are just as riotous as their new set of songs.

Director William Rees captured the footage during Radkey’s October tour of Europe and transformed it into the new clip, which you can see above.

“The crowds on the tour were incredible,” Rees says of the experience. “[They] were blown away with the energy of the live shows.”

“Energy” doesn’t quite do Radkey justice. Bassist Isaiah Radke segues into the song by asking their rapt audience to start freaking out, and do they ever. What follows is writhing-on-the-floor guitar playing, crowd surfing and plenty of movement from the audience, which takes Radkey’s command very seriously.
