Randy Newman has written a song about Donald Trump's dick. He confirmed, however, that he won't be releasing the track. "The language was too vulgar," Newman told Vulture. "It felt too easy."

Nonetheless, he offered some of its lyrics: "My dick’s bigger than your dick / It ain’t braggin’ if it’s true / My dick’s bigger than your dick / I can prove it too / There it is! There’s my dick / Isn’t that a wonderful sight? / Run to the village, to town, to the countryside / Tell the people what you’ve seen here tonight."

The Trump song came up when he was asked about "Putin," a song poking fun at the Russian president from Newman's forthcoming album Dark Matter. "The hook was 'What a dick!' Duh-duh-duh. 'What a dick!,'" Newman added. "But I just didn’t want to add to the problem of how ugly the conversation we’re all having is, so I didn’t put it out."

He also noted that while the political discourse is abysmal, there's still a lot of good in the world. "I have to watch that my stuff doesn’t seem like I’m sneering all the time," Newman said. "What helps is that I’m actually not that cynical. I’ve got a song on this record, 'It’s a Jungle Out There,' and I don’t think that. I don’t think it’s a jungle out there; I don’t think things are that bad. I think they’re very bad politically, but not otherwise."

Newman's first album since 2008's Harps and Angels is due Aug. 4. Yesterday, he released the second single from Dark Matter. "Sonny Boy" honors the late Chicago bluesman Sonny Boy Williamson.
