If you’ve got 40 minutes and you love the Smiths, well, we’ve got something that will blow your mind. Rare footage of a gig that former frontman Morrissey played with the band in 1988 — after they’d split up and he’d embarked on a solo career — has surfaced. This is a true gem when it comes to Smiths’ artifacts.

As the NME reports, guitarist Johnny Marr declined Moz’s invitation to participate. He was replaced by Craig Gannon for this show.

Before you watch, here’s the show’s vitals: The gig took place at Wolverhampton Civic Hall on Dec. 22, 1988. It was was an early Christmas present for the band’s diehards, and fans were able to gain entry to the show by wearing either a Smiths or Morrissey t-shirt.

Strangely enough, the members of the band were suing Morrissey at the time, but they put the legal wrangling aside to please the fans with a set that included Morrissey solo tunes and a few Smiths numbers the band had never aired live. The complete setlist is below, though if you’re like us, you’ll be to wrapped up watching the video to read it.
