While Super Tuesday's election results weren't exactly encouraging for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, his pals in the Red Hot Chili Peppers have provided him with something that should cheer him up.

The Chili Peppers posted an impromptu jingle for the Vermont Senator to use on his campaign trail (via Alternative Nation).

Of course, the Chili Peppers have been staunch supporters of Sanders for a while now. They performed at last month's #FeeltheBern benefit concert in Los Angeles where they covered David Bowie and bassist Flea told Rolling Stone that his vote would definitely go to Sanders. "I believe in him; I believe in what he says," said Flea. "I relate to people who realize that we're all connected, and who realize that we have to look out for each other and love each other. And that's what Bernie's about." Flea also said Republican candidate Donald Trump is a "silly reality-show bozo."

Meanwhile, the band have reportedly almost finished work on their upcoming album with producer Danger Mouse.
