Now that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are back after Anthony Kiedis' recent health scare, they've let loose a second song from their upcoming album, The Getaway.

This time it's the title track from the long-awaited full-length, produced by Danger Mouse and mixed by Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich. "The Getaway" is the first song on the album, and it kicks things off with a mellow and minimalistic vibe that evokes Californication-era songs like "Scar Tissue." Listen above.

But speaking of scar tissue, Kiedis said the reason he was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital a few weeks ago was because an intestinal flu and another virus caused painful inflammation of scar tissue from hernia operations. The Chili Peppers were forced to cancel their headlining spot at KROQ’s annual Weenie Roast and a handful of other shows.

But they returned to the stage at last weekend's Rock on the Range in Ohio, where they performed "Dark Necessities," the lead single from The Getaway, for the very first time. Check out footage below.

The Getaway is set for release June 17 via Warner Bros.
