Renee & Jeremy Cover Red Hot Chili Peppers’ ‘Give It Away’ – New Video

The Red Hot Chili Peppers' 1991 hit 'Give It Away' doesn't seem like the most natural choice for a bedtime lullaby, but that didn't stop kindie (as in kid indie) duo Renee & Jeremy from giving it a whirl -- or emerging with a surprisingly effective new version of the song.

The newly soft and fuzzy 'Give It Away' is included on Renee & Jeremy's latest album, 'A Little Love,' which finds them giving the lullaby treatment to an admirably eclectic list of hits by other artists, including R.E.M.'s 'Shiny Happy People' and Coldplay's 'Yellow.' And lest you think this is just another one of those Rockabye Baby-style cash-ins, never fear -- the male half of Renee & Jeremy is Jeremy Toback, a founding member of Stone Gossard's Pearl Jam side project Brad, and anyway, the clip boasts a slew of ridiculously adorable visuals.
