Earlier this month, Rilo Kiley announced an April release date for 'RKives,' their eagerly anticipated rarities collection, and now, they’re gearing up to unveil the first single, ‘Let Me Back In.’ But that’s not all: The defunct L.A. indie band wants fans to help make a video for the tune.

"Help us make our video! For our first single, ‘Let Me Back In,’ we invite you to upload your favorite personal Rilo Kiley video clip, band footage, created animation, etc ... whatever you have in moving pictures that you’d like to share with us," reads a post on the band's website. "We will then view and choose among them to incorporate into the video. All submissions are due by March 5th.”

Due out on April 2 via Little Record Company, 'RKives' is, as the name suggests, a collection of b-sides, rare demos and nine previously unreleased tracks. The 16-song disc includes artwork designed by Rilo Kiley, along with photo collages and handwritten lyrics.

Although ‘Let Me Back In’ won’t be released until March 19, you can listen to it now over at Spin.
