Riot Fest has already gone the extra mile to celebrate its 10-year anniversary with Weezer, Violent Femmes and Jane's Addiction playing one of their classic albums in its entirety. But a handful of bands have just been added to the bill to sweeten the pot, including the Hold Steady, Tokyo Police Club and Say Anything.

Taking place in Chicago on Sept. 12-14, Riot Fest features some of indie rock's biggest bands, like the National, the Flaming Lips, Patti Smith, Pussy Riot and the Cure. The fesitivites will take place at Humboldt Park.

“This is really about thanking our fans," festival founder Mike Petryshyn said. "The work put into the lineups this year and things like the essential albums plays is for them. As cliched as it may sound, it’s the truth. We’d be nowhere without them and maybe the way we thank them is by giving them a fest where we can all sing along."

Before heading to Chicago, Riot Fest will kick things off in Toronto on Sept. 6-7. Following the Windy City date, the fest will then head to Denver from Sept. 19-21.

While early-bird tickets have sold out, you can still purchase regular admission tix via Ticketfly. You can find ticket info and more information about the festival at Riot Fest's official website.
