Philly-based producer RJD2 has announced he will return with his sixth full-length Dame Fortune this spring.

The album -- which was recorded in Philadelphia and RJD2's hometown of Columbus, Ohio -- is due out March 25 via the producer’s own Electrical Connections label. It includes vocal contributions from Son Little (aka Aaron Livingston), Phonte, Blueprint, Josh Krajcik and Jordan Brown. Brown appears on lead single “Peace of What,” a soulful cut boasting strings and horns that's inspired by Main Source’s great 1991 track “Peace Is Not the Word to Play.” Take a listen below:

“When I hear people talk of peace in America, the discrepancy between our words and our actions can get fatiguing,” RJD2 says of the new song in a press release. “I was trying to reflect the experience of people I know, which often feels like ‘We’re not ACTUALLY trying to do anything about this problem in our country.’”

Dame of Fortune -- which can be pre-ordered now at iTunes and Amazon -- follows RJD2’s 2013 LP More Is Than Isn’t and last year’s STS X RJD2, the producer’s collaborative effort with rapper STS.
