Rocket From the Crypt Reunite on ‘Yo Gabba Gabba!’

Rocket from the Crypt officially disbanded in 2005, but all was right with the world again recently for an all-too-brief 90 seconds when they reformed on the rock-friendly kids show ‘Yo Gabba Gabba!’ to perform a tune called ‘He’s a Chef.’ The critically acclaimed San Diego garage-punk band — not to be confused with the mid-’70s Cleveland group Rocket from the Tombs, which featured future members of Pere Ubu and the Dead Boys — also are releasing a limited edition 7-inch single version of ‘He’s a Chef’ (with a B-side featuring rapper Biz Markie and the Flaming Lips‘ Wayne Coyne) that will be available exclusively at select Volvom retailers with a purchase of qualifying products. Or, if you’re feeling lucky, punk, enter here to win one of 100 copies of ‘Chef’ that are being given away free.
