A couple weeks ago, Ryan Adams unveiled some information about his upcoming album. At the time, he had released only a few tour dates to accompany the news.

He's just released a whole bunch more that will keep him on the road for most of October, a month or so after the Sept. 9 debut of 'Ryan Adams.'

It's been a busy month for Adams, who also recently announced a new singles series, starting with 'Gimme Something Good,' which will be on the new record. The seven-inch single is Adams’ first exclusive release on his PAX-AM label since 2012′s 15-record ‘Live After Deaf’ set, which sold out in eight minutes.

Adams self-produced the upcoming album, his first since 2011's 'Ashes & Fire,' a laid-back singer-songwriter record in which he channeled some '70s Laurel Canyon sounds. From what we've heard so far, though, the self-titled LP should be a more rockin' affair.

Here's the itinerary for Adams' North American tour:

7/22 – Portland, ME – State Theatre
7/23 – Burlington, VT – Flynn Center For Performing Arts
7/25 – Newport, RI – Newport Folk Festival
