Everyone's (our?) favorite wandering songwriter is back with a warm new single. Is he from Minneapolis? L.A.? Brooklyn? Portland? Ryan Traster is the epitome of the modern vagabond, and we can't get enough.

Maybe it's because we actually know most of the people in the songs, or maybe Traster's stories are so vivid that the characters just feel real. Either way, the personality in his lyrics get us every time. 'Lucky Lucia' is a quick, to-the-point pop gem about a lucky girl from Brooklyn named -- get this -- Lucia. "Inspired," Traster tells Diffuser.fm, "by something a friend of mine said while she was giving me a stick and poke tattoo in Bushwick."

The track was produced by L.A.'s Joe McGrath (Ryan Adams, Morrissey), and unlike some of Traster's other, more aimless songs, it truly leaves the listener wanting more. He achieved the full-band sound with the help of friends and studio cats Peter Anderson (the Ocean Blue, Golden Smog), Daniel Brummel (Ozma, the Elected), Jason Borger (Jonathan Wilson, Chuck Prophet), Michael McGarthwaite and Jonny Leroy.
