If you're looking for something a little mellow to listen to on a dreary winter day, then Ryley Walker might be your guy. His new single, 'Primrose Green,' will no doubt help you float into the weekend (we know it's just Tuesday).

Unlike much new music today, Walker takes his time to develop his sound and helps the listener ease into it with a 63-second instrumental introduction on 'Primrose Green.' Once he starts singing, you'll notice that the lyrics aren't too far-reaching or complicated; while it's lovely to hear his voice, the new track focuses more on layered instrumentals and Walker's expert guitar playing than the actual words. Named after a cocktail made with whiskey and morning glory seeds, the song will bring you to a higher place and will leave you wanting more:

'Primrose Green' is the new single off Walker's upcoming album of the same name set for release on March 31 via Dead Oceans. Aside from the LP, Walker will be busy on the road starting on Jan. 13 in Brooklyn. Check out his tour schedule below:
