On Nov. 4, Saint Saviour (a.k.a. Becky Jones) releases her latest album, ‘In the Seams,’ via Surface Area. Full of gorgeous musical arrangements, the album’s power is rooted in the voice of its singer; Jones’ utterances are built on a foundation of sincere honesty, making them staggeringly beautiful. Ahead of the release of ‘In the Seams,’ Diffuser can’t wait for you to check out Saint Saviour’s performance of the new song, ‘Nobody Died,’ in the video above.

This particular performance -- recorded at the Dalston Boys Club in London -- is stripped down and finds Jones’ talents front and center. With no added production or instrumentation, the beauty of ‘Nobody Died’ resonates louder than ever with just a piano and vocals.

“This is one of the first songs I wrote for the album,” Jones tells us. “I’ve always felt that each songwriter has their archetypal ‘core’ song in their heart, like a message that ends up being expressed in some way through all of their work.”

She goes on, “For me, it’s a sense of ‘it’s going to be OK,’ which worms into the core of most of my work. I’m saying it to myself really. This song is a really clear example of that.”

Following the release of ‘In the Seams,’ Saint Saviour hits the road with Bill Ryder-Jones. Get her full tour schedule below, and find all the details on her new record here.
