Last night (Jan. 13) was a big one for 'Girls,' with the HBO series and its creator/star Lena Dunham winning two awards at the Golden Globes. The show also returned to the air for its second season, and in conjunction with that comes the 'GIRLS – Volume 1’ soundtrack, a collection of tunes associated with the show from the likes of Belle & Sebastian, fun., Fleet Foxes and the Vaccines.

The first single and video from the comp is the appropriately titled 'Girls' by Santigold. "The video depicts the essence of New York women, showcasing a variety of shapes, sizes, ages and personal styles," reads the press release accompanying the clip, which premiered this morning. The clip is available for your viewing pleasure above and the soundtrack is available for digital purchase here.
