Santigold has announced she will soon return with her third album 99¢. She broke the good news on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show, where she premiered a first taste of the upcoming record, “Can’t Get Enough of Myself.” Listen below:

The singer told Lowe the exuberant, B.C.-featured track pulls elements from African music and reggae as inspired by her work with producer Patrik Berger. As for the album’s title and artwork -- which depicts the singer and touchstones from her life hermetically sealed in a plastic bag and price-pointed at a scant 99 cents -- Santigold told Lowe, “Everything is a product at this point, including people and relationships.”

She also alluded to the current state of the music industry and dismal record sales as a driving force behind the album cover. “So, I’m a product,” she continued. “Also, everything’s undervalued, so I thought 99 cents was a good price for me and my life and all my hard work.”

Santigold’s 99¢ is expected sometime next year. When it lands, it will follow 2012’s Master of My Make-Believe.
