Sasquatch! 2013 Festival Dates Announced

It’s not even winter yet, but we’re already looking forward to summer festivals, since we like to plan ahead and scare away the winter doldrums with thoughts and dreams of hot weather concerts. To get you in the mood, Sasquatch! Festival dates for 2013 have been announced.

The event will return for a 12th year at the Gorge in Washington state, and it will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend, which is May 24 through 27. Now that’s how you kick off the summer!

Four-day passes go on sale Friday, Nov. 23, allowing you to celebrate Black Friday with a gift to yourself and your friends, perhaps.

The lineup won’t be announced until February, but we think it’s a good, safe investment on your part if you shell out some cash for discounted festival passes on Friday, before the roster of artists is announced, since it’s always top notch.

Last year’s lineup was pretty sweet, with Bon Iver, Metric, Jack White and Shins on the bill.
