In March, SXSW usually gets all the attention, but before you head to Austin, you might want to check out this year's Savannah Stopover Music Festival, which features headliners like Wye Oak, Those Darlins and Oberhofer.

Set to take place March 6-8, Savannah Stopover boasts a lineup -- announced in full today (Jan. 31) -- that includes THUMPERS, Torres, Black Taxi, Brothertiger, Miniature Tigers, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Wild Child, the Tennis System, Speedy Ortiz and Ski Lodge.

Various local venues will host their own special events, and on March 6, Moon River's Beer Garden hosts the Juried Band Poster Exhibition event and Opening Night Concert, featuring St. Paul & the Broken Bones. That same night, Future Islands play Club One, which offers three nights of synth-pop and dance.
