She & Him, ‘I Could’ve Been Your Girl’

She & Him have premiered their video for ‘I Could’ve Been Your Girl’ on HelloGiggles.com, a lifestyle and entertainment site for women co-founded by frontwoman Zooey Deschanel. The clip isn’t a departure for the cutesy, ‘60s-inspired actress-turned-singer-songwriter, but it is her first credit as director. Deschanel dances her way through the clip, seemingly trying to win the attention of guitarist M. Ward. He, however, spends the video averting his eyes from all the vintage dresses and group dance numbers by cowering behind a newspaper.

‘Volume 3’ hit stores back in early May, and the duo’s U.S. and Canadian tour launches in mid-June.
