Continuing in the grand tradition of 'Volume One' and 'Volume 2, She & Him return May 7 with -- wait for it -- 'Volume 3,' and 'I Could’ve Been Your Girl' follows first single 'Never Wanted Your Love,' which hit the 'Net last month, as the latest cut to surface from the disc.

Penned by Zooey Deschanel and featuring string arrangements by bandmate M. Ward, 'I Could’ve Been Your Girl' follows the template a classic '60s girl-group pop, with the singer-actress once again pulling her tried-and-true formula of singing woeful tales of heartbreak over peppy pop. Catch their boy-girl act this summer on a North American tour that kicks off June 12 in Nashville.
