She & Him, ‘Never Wanted Your Love’ [Listen]

The duo of Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward – otherwise known as She & Him – are readying the release of their third studio effort, ‘Volume 3.’ The disc’s first single, ‘Never Wanted Your Love,’ is available now, so indulge your musical sweet tooth and give it a listen.

Actually, while the song sounds poppy and upbeat, the dismal lyrics hint at relationship woes, as Deschanel croons, “I’m not talking to you anymore / I’m making my bed so I can lie there forever / I don’t know what I’m doing this for / All I know is that I’m tired of being clever / Everybody’s clever these days.”
