As great as it is, the spring-loaded Johnny Marr guitar riff that propels the Smiths' 'This Charming Man' can distract from the true heart of the song: Morrissey's aching vocals. Luckily, U.K. dubstep producer Skream has remixed the classic 1983 single for maximum emotional impact, and his version -- unveiled recently on the Line of Best Fit -- features little more than mournful piano, a heartbeat drum pattern and Moz's sexually confused croon, treated with extra reverb.

"Did this yesterday.....This ones plagued with tags for the thieves..." Skream wrote at the time of the song's posting. "This isn't a dance track nor really a electronic track.... Just a piece of music I'm really happy with. Enjoy :-)".
