The Smashing Pumpkins‘ lengthy 1996-1997 North American trek in support of their ‘Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness’ double album included at least four California dates, with a break in the middle for the winter holidays. This western swing with Garbage was promoted on the cheshire-inspired poster pictured at left, which is now ultra rare and appropriately fetches a pretty penny.
