For the first time in four years, Spoon are releasing a new album real soon. 'They Want My Soul' comes out on Aug. 5, and the band has been busy unveiling singles and doing the talk-show and interview circuit leading up to it.

Last week, they stopped by 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' and played two of the album's songs, 'Rent I Pay' and 'Rainy Taxi.' And they just performed the same two songs BBC Radio 6, which you can listen to below.

The BBC Radio 6 broadcast also included an interview with frontman Britt Daniel, who discussed the harder sound found on 'They Want My Soul.'

He also talked about some of the record's "tasty tracks," and just how painful and monotonous a four-year gap can be between albums -- not just for fans, but for bands as well. The whole interview can also be heard in the above clip.
