Watch St. Vincent Get Trippy With ‘Birth In Reverse’ Music Video

St. Vincent has outdone herself with her self-titled, fourth studio album, and now we get to see another one of those tracks play out on the screen in her new video for 'Birth In Reverse.' Check it out above.

If you've seen her perform this track, you know she's quite animated with some quirky movements and choreography. Fortunately, that's the same kind of vibe we get in the official music video -- but taken one step further.

A camera closes in on Annie Clark, who's dressed in white and standing in a white honeycomb room. We later find her dressed in a modern yet pretty chic straitjacket. The video continues to venture into various clips of Clark playing guitar in the middle of the stars with a lot of head-banging; it's pretty clear that her rockstar status ups itself a point with every hair flip.

The visual was directed by Willo Perron, who also designed the packaging for the physical formats of St. Vincent's recent eponymous album.

St. Vincent has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Alternative Album category, and her band is currently finishing up some dates with the Black Keys. They will kick off 2015 with a couple of shows in Singapore before heading to Australia.
