Erstwhile Pavement leader Stephen Malkmus is scoring a new Netflix series created by and starring Arrested Development actor Will Arnett.

Arnett broke the news in a tweet, writing Malkmus will helm the score for his forthcoming dramedy Flaked. The soundtrack will also feature songs from Local Natives, El Vy, (the recently disbanded) Youth Lagoon, Junip, Hinds and S. Carey. The show follows Arnett’s character and his journey as a recovering alcoholic in Venice, Calif. Watch the trailer below. (It spotlights songs from the War on Drugs and RIVVRS.) The series will premiere in full on Netflix on March 11.

Malkmus and his band, the Jicks, last released Wig Out at Jagbags in 2014. Earlier this month, they dropped a new live album Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks at QMF 2015, which was recorded during the band's set at last year's Quiet Music Festival in Portland. The track list spans rarities from Malkmus' solo catalog and covers of Nirvana, Minutemen and the Carpenters.
