Sublime With Rome, the re-branded version of 90s hitmakers Sublime, will embark on their third tour this summer.  The band announced via press release that they will play 16 dates with Cypress Hill and Pepper in July and August. This is in addition to a handful of previously announced shows in June, which includes several festivals and county and state fairs.

Sublime With Rome was formed in 2009 by bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh of Sublime, with Rome Ramirez taking the place of Bradley Nowell, who died in 1996. Gaugh left the band in December 2011. Veteran drummer Josh Freese has been sitting in on recent dates.

Sublime With Rome's association with Cypress Hill, the Latino hip-hop group most famous for their 1994 hit 'Insane In the Membrane' and their strong pro-marijuana stance, goes back to the group's earliest days. One of the first shows they played was Cypress Hill's Smokeout Festival in 2009, and they headlined this year's festival in March. Ticket information can be found at their website.
