It was sayonara for Swedish House Mafia at this weekend’s Ultra Music Festival, as Sunday (March 24) marked the trio’s final live gig — at least until the inevitable reunion tour.

The Mafia, which comprises DJs and producers Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, closed out their live career amid much fanfare at the annual Miami festival — three years after performing there for the first time.

The group formed in 2008 and became the first EDM act to sell out the so-called “world’s most famous arena,” NYC’s Madison Square Garden. Theirs was an inimitable run, but it’s all over … for now.

According to WENN, SHM’s final set ran for 90 minutes and included their biggest hit ‘Don’t You Worry Child,’ as well as a remix of Coldplay‘s ‘Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall.’ The stage was loaded with LED lighting and a three-tier DJ booth. The Ultra set was unfortunately a shortened version of threesome’s One Last Tour set list, as they had to work within the festival’s time parameters. But by all accounts, it didn’t matter to fans.

Axwell, who was said to be emotional, reportedly dubbed the show the group’s “last day in school.”

“We came, we raved and we f—ing loved you,” Axwell said before leaving the stage. Amen to that.
