Try as one might, it's impossible to be everywhere as South by Southwest -- and recapping all the notable happenings of the previous day is a tough task, as festival-goers are generally in no rush to wake up and start uploading their cellphone videos to the Internet. That said, we're not ones to back down to a challenge, so we've scoured YouTube and others sites in search of any clips that highlight the biggest and best moments from day two (March 13) of SXSW 2013. More video evidence from Wednesday's doings may eventually surface, but the following selections offer up a good summary of what went down in the Lone Star State capital yesterday.

  • Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

Nick Cave and his Bad Seeds offered a fantastically gritty take on 'Jubilee Street,' slow-burning single off their new album 'Push the Sky Away' during a performance Wednesday at Stubb's BBQ.

  • Paramore

Pop-punk princess Hayley Williams led Paramore through a rockin' set at the Warner Sound showcase, where they unveiled ‘Still Into You,’ a single off their forthcoming self-titled album.

  • Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Karen O donned her finest '70s duds -- dig that yellow jumpsuit, complete with bell bottoms -- and led the fellas through a collection of old favorites and fresh jams from the forthcoming 'Mosquito.' We miss the black bangs, but lady still brings the dark, mystical energy.

  • Depeche Mode

Synth-pop superstars Depeche Mode sat down for an official SXSW Q&A session Wednesday afternoon at the Austin Convention Center. Promoting their forthcoming 'Delta Machine' album, Dave Gahan and Martin Gore took the opportunity to discuss potential set lists for their world tour -- much to the excitement of the assembled Depeche faithful.

  • RDGLDGRN

Washington, D.C.-based outfit RDGLDGRN hit the stage of the Virgin Mobile House, running through the genre-twisting, Pharrel co-penned track ‘Doing the Most’ with a burst of Texas-sized energy. No wonder Dave Grohl digs these guys!
