The 2013 Grammy Awards keep getting better and better. The list of nominees, which was announced last month, is full of indie and alt-rock acts, and now three of those bands -- the Black Keys, fun. and Mumford and Sons -- are among the artist that have signed on to perform during the 55th annual ceremony, which will take place on Feb. 10 in Los Angeles.
The Black Keys and the Flaming Lips will join forces for a brief but all-powerful spate of dates this spring. Both bands are already touring separately, and their paths will converge on April 28 and remain as such through May 3. It's not enough to label it an actual "tour," but that's semantics. All that matters is that they will grace the same stages.
Congratulations are in order for Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney, who married Emily Ward on Saturday at their home in Nashville, the Associated Press reports.
