When Sean Pecknold and Matt Daniel began work on their new film, 'The Internet – A Blog Cats WTF Universe,' they didn't have to look far to find someone to compose the score. All they had to do was ask Pecknold's brother, Robin, who is the lead singer and songwriter of Fleet Foxes.
The term "indie" gets thrown around way too often, a lot of times being incorrectly used. However, the forthcoming Terrence Malick film 'Lawless' embodies indie in every possible way, right down to its line-up of cameos from Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, Neon Indian and others. With so many hipster-approved acts on board, it should come as no surprise that 'Lawless' is being filmed in Austin, Texas, the so-called Live Music Capital of the World.
