Three indie-rock giants -- Iggy Pop, Nick Cave and Thurston Moore -- recently got together to record a cover of a song by '80s post-punk legends the Gun Club.
Iggy Pop joined a couple of New Order members onstage last night in New York and played a couple of classic songs by Joy Division, the band that spawned New Order.
When we think of Iggy Pop, we see that picture of him with his eyes wild, hair disheveled and chest sliced up. That was back when he was leading the Stooges, positively one of the most over-the-top rock bands of all time.
