"Arcade Fire STILL with us at DFA ... This is going to be one great sounding album," reads a tweet posted yesterday on the DFA Studio Twitter account. We're not certain who penned that promising Twitter missive, but we wouldn't be surprised if James Murphy was responsible, as the ex-LCD Soundsystem mastermind is co-head of DFA Records, the New York-based label with a recording studio located in NYC.

Ex-LCD Sounsystem frontman James Murphy has filed a lawsuit against fellow DFA Records founder Tim Goldsworthy for nearly $100,000, according to a report in DNAinfo.com. The lawsuit, filed Friday in Manhattan Civil Supreme Court, is for "breach of contract" and "unjust enrichment" and says that "attempts to amicably resolve this matter were rebuffed" by Goldsworthy.

Pulp gave fans attending last month's homecoming concert at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield, England, a special Christmas present: digital access to 'After You,' a track they recorded with former LCD Soundsystem singer James Murphy. Now the band has announced plans to offer the song as an iTunes download starting Monday (Jan. 28) -- although you can stream it below right now.

The former LCD Soundsystem mastermind recently dismissed reports that he was producing YYY's next album -- "I was just fussing around ," he revealed. "I didn’t make their album. They’re just friends." -- but Murphy has taken on a more significant role with Arcade Fire as they plug away at the follow-up to their Grammy-winning 2010 album 'The Suburbs,' contributing to a few tunes bound for the as-yet-untitled disc.
