Muse drummer Dominic Howard has begun "having conversations" with his bandmates about how to approach their next album, the follow-up to last year's Grammy-nominated 'The 2nd Law,' but as he tells Billboard, they won't begin working on the disc anytime soon.

Muse have cancelled three concerts on their European tour after frontman Matt Bellamy broke two bones in his foot. The band revealed the news yesterday (Nov. 29) after Bellamy tweeted, "Ouch! Broke my foot..." The post also featured an X-ray of his damaged foot.

Muse have landed the top honor at the Q magazine Awards 2012, as the British trio bested the likes of Coldplay, Lady Gaga and the Stone Roses to be named Best Act in the World Today during a ceremony held on Monday (Oct. 22) in London, England. Muse led an impressive list of Q Awards winners that also included Blur, Bobby Womack, Keane, Pulp, Johnny Marr and Killers frontman Brandon Flowers. Last night (Oct. 6), Muse brought their outsized sound to 'Saturday Night Live,' performing two songs from their just-released sixth album, 'The 2nd Law.' Plenty of Muse fans have been eagerly awaiting the band's new album, 'The 2nd Law' -- but few of them are more famous, or more problematic for the members of the band, than right-wing TV and radio personality Glenn Beck.

Muse certainly explored new sonic territories with their recent dubstep-inspired track 'Unsustainable,' and now the British rockers drift even further from their original, um, muse with a cover of Prince's 'Sign o' the Times,' recorded earlier today at the BBC’s Radio One Live Lounge.

As you may have heard, the members of Muse are currently embroiled in a $3.5 million lawsuit filed by a songwriter who has accused the band of stealing his ideas. The trial has yet to begin, but the band has already issued its verdict, calling the whole thing "complete nonsense."

A man who accuses Muse of stealing his ideas for a sci-fi rock opera has filed a $3.5 million lawsuit against the band's label, Warner Bros. Records, in a New York City federal court, citing copyright infringement, unfair trade practices and unfair competition.

Muse have unleashed a monster new video for 'Madness,' the second single from their forthcoming 'The 2nd Law' album and first to get video treatment. The clip follows a statuesque femme fatale through the London Underground as riots break out around her.
