To commemorate its 15th anniversary, the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience has announced the first 15 acts on this year’s lineup. Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails and Paramore are just a few of the groups set to perform at the three-day bash, which comes to the New Orleans City Park Festival Grounds on Nov. 1-3.
Paramore’s new self-titled album dropped today (April 9) via Fueled by Ramen, and they’ve just rolled out a video for their latest single, ‘Still Into You.’ The clip features singer Hayley Williams and her bandmates riding bikes, frolicking around in a sea of balloons and generally wreaking havoc inside of a picturesque mansion.
The most revealing track on Paramore’s fourth album is also its thinnest. “Let them play their songs, let them say what’s right and wrong / ... I could be angry, but you’re not worth the fight, and besides, I’m moving on,” Hayley Williams sings on the 90-second ‘Interlude: Moving On,’ a brief ukulele-strummed throwaway that shows up a third of the way through ‘Paramore.’ It’s the most disposable track on an overlong album that has several of them. But it’s also the record’s statement of purpose.
Paramore fans were in for a treat at the Warner Sound showcase at SXSW 2013 last night (March 13), when the band unleashed a brand-new tune, ‘Still Into You.’ (Watch the video above.) During the song, singer Hayley Williams prowled the stage with fierce red hair, unstoppable energy and paint on her face.
Paramore have revealed the track listing for their much-anticipated fourth album. The band's fourth LP, which is self-titled, will be released on April 9.
