Taco Bell's new Doritos Locos Tacos have become a craze in the fast food world since they were released this past spring. Recently, the chain has reported that they have sold 200 million tacos so far. So it's no surprise that the company used the popular app Instagram and an indie rock hit for their new commercial to promote the brand even further.

Tim Burton's upcoming movie, 'Frankenweenie,' is a 3D remake of a short film Burton made in 1984 about a boy who brings his dog back to life. Although the movie won't be in theaters until Oct. 5, the soundtrack, 'Frankenweenie Unleashed!' -- which will be released on Sept. 25 -- features a song by Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

During a relatively soft week for major new music releases, the latest albums from Passion Pit ('Gossamer') and the Gaslight Anthem ('Handwritten') appear poised to score impressively high debuts.

One week after canceling several dates on their 2012 summer tour -- and just one day after the release of their much-anticipated new album, 'Gossamer' -- Passion Pit have announced that they will be nixing three more concerts on the jaunt.

Alternate album title: 'Pity Party 'Til You Puke.' Three years ago, Passion Pit found their electropop piped into homes everywhere when their breakout single, 'Sleepyhead,' became the Big TV Commercial Jam of 2008. That beat -- that still-incredible, 'Ye-influenced beat -- and Michael Angelakos' birthday balloon-huffing falsetto were everywhere -- except for the Billboard Top 100 charts, somehow.

Passion Pit have created some bizarre videos over the years, but their latest, for second 'Gossamer' single 'I'll Be Alright,' may take the cake. And while the band members themselves did not have a hand in crafting the clip -- it was the winner of an online Genero.tv video-making competition -- they did help chose it, so at least you know it has the Passion Pit seal of approval.

With a highly anticipated new album, 'Gossamer,' coming out on July 24, it was looking like good times were ahead for Passion Pit. Unfortunately, a delay has been placed on the celebrations, as the band members have announced that they have had to cancel the first six shows of its upcoming tour.

In just two weeks, electropop headliners Passion Pit will release their much anticipated second studio album. Building excitement for ‘Gossamer,’ the band has released a funky and slow third track, ‘Constant Conversations.’
