Savannah Stopover

In March, SXSW usually gets all the attention, but before you head to Austin, you might want to check out this year's Savannah Stopover Music Festival, which features headliners like Wye Oak, Those Darlins and Oberhofer.

Earlier this month, the Savannah Stopover Festival – set to take place in the Historic District of Savannah, Ga., from March 7-9 – announced such acts as Of Montreal, the Whigs, Bronze Radio Return and Chelsea Light Moving featuring Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore. The lineup has just been finalized and includes the recent additions of BRAIDS, HAERTS, Kopecky Family Band and Prince Rama.

While music fans gear up for this year’s SXSW, the lineup for another Southern-based festival, the Savannah Stopover, has been announced. As the name suggests, the event takes place in Savannah, Ga., and it runs March 7-9, just one week before the highly anticipated festival in Austin, Texas.
