And now Gordon is doing a little fall cleaning by auctioning off a selection of designer clothes from her closet over at the Mercy's Vintage website. While the future of Sonic Youth is still unclear, singer Thurston Moore has been keeping himself busy. Along with side projects like recording an album with Yoko Ono, Moore has joined the ranks of Chicago-based black metal outfit Twilight.

The breakup of Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon last year has put the band's future in doubt. Back in April, guitarist Lee Ranaldo told Diffuser.fm that there were "archival projects in the works right now." Earlier today (July 19), Ranaldo told Sam Huxley of BBC5 a little bit more about the upcoming projects.
